Recently I told you about the Blohm + Voss 120m MY/X, unveiled not long after the German yard presented the 110 MY/fast. As you might expect, the builder is performing tank tests well in advance of any contract signing, to ensure it will deliver what the client expects.

The following is a video of one set of tank tests performed on the 110 MY/fast. It was held in the towing tank of the Hamburg Ship Model Basin, also known as HSVA, in Hamburg, Germany. The model you’re about to see is 110 centimeters long (about 43 inches, or about three and a half feet).
